WHEN IN GZ: FOOD ADVENTURES!

I'm finally back in Hong Kong where Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Snapchat, and anything Google related works unlike Mainland China.

During my Chinese New Year break I went back to Guangzhou to visit family.

Breakfast in Guangzhou! Wonton noodle soup :)

This is how they advertise for dishwashers in China.

A very expensive soft serve, but very yummy! :P

My cousin decided to bring me to a restaurant that is famous for their spicy foods... it did not go very well.
These are our appetizers... basically all I ate that night.

Dam dam mein... where the spiciness begins.

Sour vegetable fish.... it was really really spicy.

& then some spicy "field chicken" (田雞)

Red white. Some sort of pudding with milk. Finally something to cool down the spiciness!!

The next day I found some takoyaki at a near by mall! So good :D

I think I had takoyaki at least 4 times when I was in GZ.

Because Starbucks is good wherever you go :)

Coconut chicken hot pot for dinner!

That chicken oil... but the soup was really sweet from the fresh coconut!

Preserved sausage clay pot rice! YUM :P

STANLEY HONG KONG!

- WARNING! This is going to be A LOT of scenery pictures. -

The time I visited Stanley, Hong Kong.

The trees were all massive!

Just a little village for tourists!

A street full of bars

There were these two guys sleeping right behind me...

A very sunny day and me trying to take a selfie...

I MADE IT! My legs were shaking...

Yes, I went to the beach, but I didn't step in the sand!

The last picture was probably the best picture out of all of them!

The Lovers' Terrace on the top floor of Stanley Plaza.

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE! <3
Sending you lots of love half way around the world ~

DAI PAI DONG EXPERIENCE!

Since Hong Kong is known for their old style restaurants I headed to central to try the famous Sing Heung Yuen!

Hong Kong Island =  constantly walking up hills.

Arrived at Sing Heung Yuen and luckily the line up wasn't too long!

Sitting beside strangers, only one chair space and eating on a table that has breadcrumbs on it from the people before are all part of my Dai Pai Dong experience.

Ordered the famous tomato and beef macaroni as well as the condensed milk crispy bun! My friend tried their spam and egg instant noodle, which was really good as well!

After brunch we were roaming the streets of Central and found a red telephone box!

The empty streets of Central ~

Looking into Kowloon, Hong Kong from Hong Kong Island.
Love Hong Kong!

AVENUE OF STARS!

My first time going to the Avenue of Stars! At least I think so...

It's actually walkable distance from my res, but of course I took the metro instead LOL. I walked back though!

I ARRIVED!

The amazing Hong Kong skyline ~

Where all the action begins.

Just casually appearing in some shoot.

I met Bruce Lee...'s statue. ;)

Chinese New Year decorations at the Harbour City Mall entrance!

We soon realized that we can't afford anything at the mall, so we decided to go for some coffee and desserts at the Charlie Brown Cafe instead! :)

Everything inside was sooooo cute!!
